Interested applicants can register for a free individual one-hour consultancy meeting with an eScience Center expert and an ODISSEI SoDA team member. Prior to a consultancy meeting and proposal submission, applicants are encouraged to attend the online information event.
In this meeting, we can discuss the research questions, suitable technological solutions, the viability of the approach, and the match with the eScience Center expertise. Please indicate, in the registration form, the discussion topic(s) so that we can connect you with the best suited RSEs. We advise all applicants to attend the online information event before registering for a consultancy meeting.

What’s the difference?
Social science researchers who require support to build research software or digital tooling to answer their research problem can now pick one of the two routes. If a project is a bit smaller in scale, they are welcome to apply for the Open ODISSEI eScience Center call, which offers researchers affiliated with an ODISSEI member organisation three months of RSE time. In total, five grants are available. If the project requires a much larger time investment, the researchers can apply for one of our Open SSI calls, which entails RSE support for nine months (with six grants available). In both tracks, the applicants can propose research that makes use and expands on the existing ODISSEI facilities.
