Annual Research Software Training NL (RST-NL) day

Join us and learn about ongoing training initiatives in research software, share resources, tips and tricks, exchange advice, and have a conversation with your fellow software trainers, training coordinators and other software training enthusiasts from all around the Netherlands!

09:30 – 10:00 walk-in, coffee, tea

10:00 – 10:20 start program with RST-NL program presentation and upcoming train-the-trainer opportunities for software trainers – Fenne Riemslagh and Irina Motoc

10:20 – 11:00 National research software training providers; Netherlands eScience Center and SURF – Fenne Riemslagh and Carlos Teijeiro Barjas

11:00 – 11:30 break

11:30 – 12:30 Local research software training programs; examples from your collegues on how they set-up their local training program – Paula Martinez Lavanchy and Catalina Tobon Gomez from TU Delft and Neha Moopen from Utrecht University.

12:30 – 13:30 lunch

13:30 – 15:00 Choose from 3 workshops:

1. Create your own learning pathways in Taxila – Margriet Miedema and Helena Wedig
2. Explore training and educational resources with FORRT – Flavio Azevedo and Adira Daniels
3. Co-designing a roadmap for training on research software templates and code auditing – Serkan Girgin and Manuel Garcia Alvarez
