Learn how to automate the tedious task with the power of the command line, keep track of your work with Git version control, collaborate with your peers on GitHub and analyse, visualise and publish your results with R programming language
Software Carpentry aims to help researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them necessary research computing skills. This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts and tools, including introductory programming, version control and collaboration on GitHub, data manipulation and task automation. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their research problems.
