Fellowship project title: Data analysis support for multi-omics sequencing technologies.
The goal: To develop a series of freely available curated online tutorials, including the distribution of training datasets, software scripts and a video series guiding researchers through examples of DNA, RNA and epigenetic sequencing technologies.
The why: Currently many novel scientific methods within life sciences lack proper software support. This results in poor adoption and stimulates inequality between research institutes. Adequate supported software on the other hand, accelerates scientific discovery through the rapid integration of new experimental methods.
