Designing and modelling future systems of energy systems (DEMOSES)


Energy system modelling is the process of building digital models of energy systems in order to analyze them. This allows us to support market parties, energy network operators and governments with energy transition. 

What are we trying to achieve and how? 

The goal of this project, DEMOSES, is to find a breakthrough in energy system modelling technology to provide step improvement and accelerate energy systems design and analysis.  

Participating institutions and companies: TU Eindhoven, TNO, Alliander, AgroEnergy, Eneco, Netbeheer Nederland, Stedin, Tata Steel and TenneT.
