Technologically and socially feasible transition pathways for local energy system integration (TeSoPs)

TeSoPs uses an integrative approach to identify, develop and assess technically, economically and socially feasible transition options and pathways to make heat systems more sustainable.

What are we trying to achieve and how?

The goal of this project is to make heat systems more sustainable and lower their negative impact on the environment. This will also make the wider energy system more reliable. We will explore how technological, behavioural and policy changes can expand the share of renewables in our energy systems, while at the same time increasing the reliability of the wider, integrated system.
