Research Software Engineer
Federica Riti
Federica obtained her PhD in Physics from ETH Zurich, working in high-energy particle physics in collaboration with the CMS experiment at CERN. After her PhD, she continued working at CERN as a Research Fellow, where she mostly worked on machine learning projects for the identification of low-energy particles and on the upgrade of the CMS trigger for the conditions expected at the high-luminosity LHC. She also analysed data collected by the CMS experiment to search for evidence of new physics.
She joined the Netherlands eScience Center as a Research Software Engineer in the Natural Sciences department.
