Louis van den Berghe

Louis van den Berghe is the Performance Manager at the eScience Center and leads the Operations team. He has a background in Human Geography but worked in many financial administrative jobs for more than 30 years. For nearly 20 years, he’s worked at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute in various functions. In the last two years, Louis worked at Werkom as a finance & operations manager.

He thrives in environments with highly educated and dedicated people, and has a preference for not-for-profit organisations.

As Performance Manager, Louis provides leadership and oversight to ensure effective operations, measurable performance, and sustainable governance.
